Real Prop Trading

Where Consistency Transitions Into Capital
Earning a Real Prop Trading Account (RPTA) represents a significant progression within PropShopTrader. This phase reflects demonstrated adherence to program standards, structured risk management, and longevity within the Evaluation model.

The Path to Real Prop

PropShopTrader’s progression model is designed to identify disciplined traders and transition them into professional capital allocation. There are three structured phases.

During the Evaluation phase, traders:

Benchmarks are tracked automatically within the trader dashboard.

A minimum of six (6) to eight (8) Benchmarks on a single account is required for Real Prop consideration.
Benchmarks across multiple accounts do not combine.

Traders who complete required Benchmarks and meet longevity, compliance, and risk management standards transition to a Real Prop Trading Account (RPTA).
At this stage:

Transition remains subject to firm standards and internal review.
There is no application process and no buy-in required.

Once trading in Real Prop, progression becomes performance-aligned within defined risk parameters.
As disciplined participation continues:

There are no payout caps in the Real Prop phase. Scaling decisions remain subject to Risk Team discretion and ongoing review.

Real Prop Starting Framework

Upon transition, traders are issued one or more Real Prop Trading Accounts with defined starting parameters.
These parameters are structured starting points and may adjust over time based on risk behavior and internal review.

Max Static Drawdown

Static drawdown mirrors the tier demonstrated during Evaluation and does not trail upward as profits increase.

Starting Position Size

Initial position sizing is determined by asset class, account tier, and demonstrated risk behavior.
