General Tax Overview #

Q1: Does the company issue a 1099 or other U.S. tax forms for Warrior or Gladiator payouts?
No. As a European (Estonian) entity, we do not issue U.S. forms such as 1099. If you are a U.S. citizen or resident, you may still have U.S. tax obligations, but you will not receive a 1099 from us.

Q2: I am a non-U.S. participant. Do I need to submit any U.S. tax forms (W-8 or W-9)?
Generally, no, because we are an EU-based company. If you reside outside the U.S. and do not have U.S. tax obligations, you are responsible for adhering to your local tax laws.

(Note: In special circumstances—e.g., if a non-U.S. person is required to declare worldwide income to their home country or if a U.S. citizen is living abroad—consult a tax professional.)


Income Reporting & Responsibility #

Q3: How should I report my Gladiator, or Affiliate income on my taxes?
Income generated through these programs is typically considered self-employment or business income (depending on your local regulations). You must track and report it in your home country as required by law.

  • EU Residents: Follow your national tax authority guidelines for reporting foreign or business income.
  • U.S. Citizens/Residents: You must report worldwide income to the IRS, even if no 1099 is issued. Consult a U.S. tax professional about your obligations.

Q4: Do I need to keep my own records of payouts?
Yes. We recommend that you keep detailed records (e.g., payout dates, amounts) throughout the year. You can often view your payout history in your dashboard (coming soon). Maintaining accurate records ensures a smoother tax-filing process.


No Withholding by the Company #

Q5: Will the company withhold any taxes for me?
No. As an EU-based entity, we do not withhold U.S. or other country taxes from your Gladiator or Affiliate payouts. You must handle any required tax payments directly with your local or national tax authorities.


Filing and Payment Deadlines #

Q6: When do I need to file my taxes?
Tax deadlines vary significantly by country. For example,

  • U.S.: Typically April 15 (with extensions available).
  • EU Countries: Deadlines vary (e.g., 31 May in some countries, others have different timelines).
    Always check with your local tax authority or a professional for the most accurate deadlines.

Accessing Your Earnings Information #

Q7: How do I verify how much I earned this year?
You can review your earnings in the Dashboard (coming soon) or Affiliate Portal, where each payout is listed. These records should be used for your own tax reporting purposes.
