1. Backup Solutions
- Mobile Access: It’s advisable to have a mobile solution (such as a cell phone app) available as a backup to avoid being impacted by power or internet outages.
- Primary & Backup Platforms: We require traders to keep both their primary trading platform (e.g., Tickblaze) and Rithmic RTrader Pro open at all times. Rithmic acts as a backup infrastructure, allowing you to close trades if your main platform encounters issues.
2. Closing Positions in Rithmic RTrader Pro
If you still have access to Rithmic RTrader Pro, follow these steps to close positions:
- Login to Rithmic rTrader Pro using your PropShopTrader credentials:
- User ID: Your PropShopTrader Username
- Password: Your PropShopTrader Password
- System: PropShopTrader
- Gateway: Chicago Area (or any location near to your geographic location)
- View Positions:
- Launch the Positions app from the left-hand panel.
- In the Accounts dropdown, select ALL to view all positions, or choose a specific account if needed.
- Launch the Positions app from the left-hand panel.
- Close Positions:
- Open positions will be highlighted in red. Click the red “X” next to any position to close it.
