3. MAE Flag Handling (Old vs New) #
| Event | Old System | New System |
| Trader receives 1 MAE flag | Reset trading days + reset consistency % | Reset trading days only |
| Trader receives 2 MAE flags | Same as above | |
| Trader receives 3 MAE flags | Auto-fail by system (unchanged) | |
4. Reset Options After Failure #
When an account fails, the trader clicks Reset in My Purchases page and sees this:
| Reset Choice | What trader gets | What resets | What trader must do next | Why it matters |
| Option 1: Standard Reset (Start from scratch) | New account issued | Balance resets to normal starting state, trading days reset, history reset, benchmarks not preserved | Must first cover trailing drawdown again, then hit Daily Profit Targets to build benchmarks | This is the lowest-cost reset but the trader restarts fully |
| New Option 2: Benchmark Reset (Preserve Up to 5 benchmarks) | New account issued + benchmarks preserved (max 5) | Balance resets to normal starting state, trading days reset, history reset | Trader resumes progression from the next benchmark after their preserved count | Trader does not lose benchmark progress (up to 5) |
| Benchmark Reset Add On: Preserve Drawdown Balance (available only with Option 2 at checkout) | New account issued + benchmarks preserved (max 5) + drawdown covered at start | Trading days reset, history reset, benchmarks preserved up to 5 | Trader can focus on hitting Daily Profit Targets and Benchmark Targets without needing to cover trailing drawdown first | Fastest path back to progression because the drawdown is already covered |

How the drawdown add-on works #
| Example | Without add-on | With drawdown balance add-on |
| 50K account, trailing DD = 2,500 | Trader must make 2,500 first to cover the trailing drawdown before real growth | Trader starts with the 2,500 already covered, so they can focus on benchmarks immediately. Starting balance = 52,500 Trailing Drawdown = 50,000 |
5. Benchmark Preservation Rules and Scenarios #
Preservation cap #
| Benchmarks achieved before failure | If trader chooses Benchmark Reset option | Resulting preserved count |
| 1 to 5 | Preserve benchmarks up to achieved count | 1 to 5 |
| 6 | Can only preserve up to 5 | 5 |
| 8 | Can only preserve up to 5 | 5 |
How progression resumes (examples) #
| Example | Benchmarks before failure | Trader picks Benchmark reset | What benchmark is next |
| A | 4 | Preserves 4 | Next benchmark earned becomes 5th |
| B | 6 | Preserves only 5 | Next benchmark earned becomes 6th (trader starts from preserved 5) |
| C | 1 | Preserves 1 | Next benchmark earned becomes 2nd |
