How Does the Affiliate Program Work? (Commissions, Tracking, Payouts & Rules)

How does referral tracking work? #

We use a 12-month tracking window which means when someone clicks your referral link, any purchases they make within 12 months will still earn you commission—even if they don’t buy right away. Your referrals stay locked to your link for a full year.


When and how do I get paid? #

Commissions are paid monthly via your preferred payment method. A $500 minimum payout threshold must be met before disbursement. All payouts are subject to a 30-day hold to accommodate potential refunds or chargebacks (clawbacks).


What are the affiliate payout methods? #

We currently support the following payout methods:

  • Revolut (REVTAG): Enter your REVTAG in your affiliate profile to receive fast, low-fee payments through Revolut.
  •  ACH via Wise: U.S. based affiliates (or those with eligible bank accounts) can receive direct deposits through Wise using standard ACH details.

Make sure your payout information is accurate and up to date in your affiliate dashboard to ensure timely delivery.


Can I have more than one affiliate account? #

No, each individual or entity is allowed to maintain only one affiliate account. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted and may result in the suspension or termination of all associated accounts.


Will I receive a commission for existing leads? #

No, if a lead already exists in our database or was previously referred by another affiliate, you will not receive commission for that lead. Commissions are only awarded for new customers who are first introduced to PropShopTrader through your unique referral link.


What is the commission structure? #

We use a tiered model based on your total referred revenue over a rolling 30-day period. Commissions start at 10% and scale up to 15% depending on performance. Affiliates generating $200,000 or more in referred revenue within a 30-day window may be eligible for custom commission rates.

Are there minimum requirements to maintain my commission tier? #

Yes. All commission tiers require at least 5 new customer referrals every 30 days to remain active. If performance drops below this threshold, your tier may be adjusted based on recent results.

Additionally, if your referred revenue falls below the required amount for your current tier over a 30-day period, you may be downgraded to a lower tier based on average performance or current earnings:

  • Tier 1: No downgrade rule
  • Tier 2: Downgrade if revenue stays below $15,000 for 30 days
  • Tier 3: Downgrade if revenue stays below $50,000 for 30 days
  • Tier 4: Downgrade if revenue stays below $100,000 for 30 days

Can I earn commissions on my own purchases? #

The program is strictly designed for referrals to new customers.

Affiliates are not eligible to earn commissions or other benefits on purchases made using their own affiliate links. Any attempt to circumvent this policy, such as creating additional accounts or funneling personal transactions through one’s own affiliate link, may result in forfeiture of commissions and/or termination of the Affiliate’s account.


What Happens if There’s a Chargeback or Refund for My Referral? #

Handling Chargebacks/Refunds: Any chargebacks or cancellations related to referred sales will be deducted from held commissions for a period of 30 days. If held funds are insufficient, the remaining negative balance will be offset against the Affiliate’s next payout.

Withholding: PropShopTrader may withhold commissions if there is a reasonable suspicion of fraudulent or non-compliant activity, pending further investigation.


Are there rules for how I can promote PropShopTrader? #

We encourage creative and value-driven promotion. However, affiliates must avoid any false or misleading claims and follow all applicable advertising guidelines. Misuse of promotional material or deceptive practices may result in removal from the program.


Do you offer custom deals for large influencers or platforms? #

Yes, we provide private affiliate packages and elevated payout tiers for influencers, vendors, and content partners with substantial reach. Contact our team to discuss a custom partnership that fits your audience and goals.


Do affiliates receive marketing materials or support? #

Once approved, you’ll gain access to a toolkit with banners, headlines, example captions, performance tips, and upcoming promotions. We’ll also keep you informed of active campaigns and limited-time offers that you can pass on to your audience.


Am I responsible for submitting taxes? #

Yes, as an affiliate, you are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable local, state, provincial, or federal taxes arising from your commission earnings.
