Program Basics
What is PropShopTrader?
PropShopTrader is a multi-asset proprietary trading firm. We provide skilled traders with real corporate capital to trade stocks and futures. You keep up to 90% of the profits with zero personal financial risk.
How does PropShopTrader measure performance?
PropShopTrader uses a Benchmark system.
Benchmarks are performance milestones – not withdrawals or payouts. Performance is measured by your ability to meet trading and risk conditions consistently.
What is a Benchmark?
A Benchmark is earned when all required trading and risk conditions are met. Benchmarks do not remove funds from the account, do not change your account balance, and are tracked as X / 8 on your dashboard. Up to 6-8 Benchmarks per account are required for Real Prop consideration. Benchmarks do not expire, cannot be skipped, and are lost if the account fails.

Benchmark Rules
What are the Benchmark qualification rules?
All of the following must be true:
- 5 qualifying trading days
- Net PnL on each qualifying day ≥ Daily Profit Target
- Account balance ≥ Benchmark Eligibility Threshold
- MAE warnings < 3
- No active hedging or compliance flags
- Minimum account balance not breached.
Benchmarks are evaluated automatically at end of day once all conditions are met.

What counts as a qualifying trading day?
- A qualifying trading day requires net PnL ≥ Daily Profit Target.
- Loss days do not count.
- Profitable days below target do not count.
- No-trade days do not count.
- Any profit below target remains in your account balance.

Payouts & Signing Bonuses
What replaced payouts?
Payouts are not available during the Gladiator Evaluation Phase. Benchmarks are used as the performance metric. Signing bonuses and cash payments occur only after Real Prop transition.
What happens after 8 Benchmarks?
How are Signing Bonuses structured?
- Signing Bonuses are paid only after Real Prop approval and contract signing.
- 50% is released at contract signature, and the remaining 50% is paid across the first 2 Real Prop payouts.
- No signing bonuses are paid during the Gladiator Evaluation Phase.
Account Failures & Resets
What happens if I fail my account?
An account is considered failed when it breaches its max trailing drawdown or gets 3 MAE flags.
When a failure occurs during the trading day, the failure prevents further trades but the failure email is sent at or after the 6:00 PM EST End of Day report. The reset option becomes available only after that report.
What are the reset options?
Option 1 – Standard Reset: Issues a new account with no preserved Benchmarks.
Option 2 – Benchmark Reset: Issues a new account with up to 4 previously earned Benchmarks carried over.
An optional Drawdown Preservation add-on is available only with a Benchmark Reset.
How many resets can I do?
How does Benchmark preservation work on reset?
You can preserve up to 4 Benchmarks on a Benchmark Reset. If you had 6 or 8 Benchmarks, only 4 carry over.
Multiple Accounts
How many accounts can I have?
- Traders can purchase up to 5 evaluation accounts per asset class (5 for Futures and 5 for Stocks).
- You may earn up to 5 Signing Bonuses per asset class.
- You may qualify for up to 3 Real Prop Trading Accounts for Futures and 1 Real Prop Account for Stocks.
What happens when I transition to Real Prop?
All Gladiator accounts are closed (not failed) once you transition to Real Prop. If you fail a Real Prop account, you must restart from the Gladiator phase with a new account.
MAE (Maximum Adverse Excursion)
What is MAE?
MAE (Maximum Adverse Excursion) is the maximum unrealized loss allowed per trade. The limit is 50% of the original drawdown.
For more information, clickhere.
What happens when I get an MAE warning?
1 MAE warning resets your trading days. 3 MAE warnings result in permanent account failure. MAE warnings never reset and cannot be appealed.

Platform & Data Access
Do I keep access after a failure?
Access to Tickblaze and Rithmic market data is tied to having an Active account (Status: Normal).
If your account fails (Status: Breached), and your profile has no active accounts then access is suspended until you perform a Reset.
Disclaimer: Signing Bonuses are not tied to trading performance, profitability, or future results. Advancement to the Real Prop Phase is based on the completion of defined benchmark and time-based requirements and remains subject to firm risk and compliance review. Signing Bonuses are issued only after execution of the applicable Real Prop Trading Agreement and at the firm’s discretion.
