Size Responsibly: Avoid Gambling Flags & Overleveraging
Your contract limits are based on your Average
Contract
Size (ACS) from the last 2 trading days and your
account
size. Staying within your Safe Limit per instrument helps you
maintain payout eligibility and scale responsibly.
To review the rules of the flagging system, explore examples, and learn how to
submit an
appeal, please refer to the Understanding Flags & Probation
Guide.
| Account Size | Baseline (E-mini/Micro) | Safe Limit (E-mini/Micro) | Flag Trigger (E-mini/Micro) | Maximum Contracts (E-mini/Micro) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Special Rule for Micros:
For Micro contracts only, your average is rounded up to the nearest
5 before applying the multiplier to reduce flagging for fractional trading
sizes.
Example: If your 2-day ACS is 7 micros, we round that up to 10 before applying the
multiplier.
Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only. For Warrior accounts, it is for informational purposes only.
High Frequency Trading (HFT) Flags
- Fast/bot-like trades
- Appeal required before Sat 01:00 EST
- Payout resumes if eligible
- Why You See This: Your trading activity resembled ultra-fast or automated (bot-like) execution (minimum 5 trades that are less than 10 seconds in duration).
- Payout Impact: You may request a payout, but it will be held until Compliance approves your appeal.
- Appeal Process: Appeals are mandatory. Submit yours before 01:00 EST Saturday to be eligible for payout this cycle (if approved and eligible).

Gambling Flags
- Exceeded size limit
- Optional appeal before Sat 01:00 EST
- Flag auto-resets Monday
Why You See This: A position was open above the allowed
Safe
Limit, as determined by the average trade size from your previous two trading days.
Payout Impact: Payout requests are disabled until 17:00 EST
Sunday,at which point the flag will automatically reset for the next
week.
Appeal Process: Appeals are optional, You may
submit
an appeal before 01:00 EST Saturday and if approved, your ability to
request a
payout for this week may be restored if you are otherwise eligible.

|---|---|---|---|---|
Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only. For Warrior accounts, it is for informational purposes only.
Hedging Flags
- Opposing/correlated positions
- Appeal required before Sat 01:00 EST
- Payout resumes if eligible
Why You See This: Our systems flagged simultaneous long and
short positions on the same instrument, or closely correlated trades across multiple
accounts
for a duration of more than 10 seconds. These activities are considered violations of our
prohibited trading practices.
Appeal Process: Appeals are
mandatory and must be approved in order to request a payout. Submit an
appeal
to remove the flag for future payout eligibility. Appeal must be received before 01:00 EST
Saturday if you are otherwise eligible and planning to request a payout this week.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Long | Short | Long | Short | ||||
Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only. For Warrior accounts, it is for informational purposes only. However, you are not allowed to hedge between Warrior and Gladiator accounts. If this happens, the Gladiator accounts involved will be subject to compliance review.
MAE Flags/Warnings
Why You See This: Our system monitors Maximum Adverse
Excursion (MAE) - how far a trade moves against you before recovery or closure. If
any single trade exceeds 50% of the allowed MAE, a Warning
Flag is triggered.
How It Works:
Only one MAE Warning can be issued per trader per day, even if multiple trades
or accounts exceed the limit.
Example: If your Gladiator account has a $2,500 trailing
drawdown, your maximum MAE per trade is $1,250
(50%). So, if a trade drops $1,400 against you but later finishes with a $300
profit, it still triggers an MAE Warning because the MAE threshold was
exceeded.
Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only. See the MAE/Warnings FAQ for more
details.

Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only.
Same IP Flags
- Shared or duplicate IP
- Appeal required before Sat 01:00 EST
- Payout resumes if eligible
Why You See This: We detected account access from the same
IP
address or network as another PropShopTrader user, which may indicate potential
multi-account
behavior.
Appeal Process Appeals are mandatory and must be approved
in
order to request a payout. Submit an appeal to remove the flag for future payout
eligibility.
Appeal must be received before 01:00 EST Saturday if you are otherwise eligible and planning
to
request a payout this week.

Note: This applies to Gladiator accounts only. For Warrior accounts, it is for informational purposes only.
